Janet Legge Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Legge of Hearts Content, Newfoundland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Reginald; her parents, Eva George and Moses George; her siblings, Jessie and Edward (Vera); her son-in-law Rick; and her siblings-in-law, Douglas (Maxine), Leslie, Charles, Clarence and Hazel.

She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Mealey (Randy), Valerie Hindy (Gary), Carol Stoyles, Tina Legge-Higgins (Martin), Leonard (Yvonne) and Garry (Fronie); her grandchildren, Pamela (Dale), Jonathan, Ryan, Chuck (Sheryl), Tina (Kenny) and Joshua (Stephanie); and her siblings-in-law, David, Neville (Violet), Norma and Minnie.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the St. Mary's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund.
