He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Underhay and Elsie Underhay (Rowe); his sisters, Dorothy Quanberry (Ernie) of Hagersville, ON, Twin and Audrey Fairfull (Jack) of Bobcaygeon, ON; and his wife Anastatia (New-Wes-Valley) of Wesleyville, NL.
He is survived by: his son Vaughan Underhay; his daughter-in-law Olga Hitchen of St. John's; his daughter Kimberly Ann Underhay of St. John's; and his grandson Andrew Hitchen-Underhay (Elizabeth Drover).
Those wishing to attend the visitation and/or service are asked to wear a mask and maintain safe sociable distance, avoiding contact where possible.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Association, Canadian Alzheimer's Society, or Beagle Paws.
