Hayward Wilson Piercey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hayward Wilson Piercey of Hearts Content, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Beatrice; his brother Sidney; his parents-in-law, Herb and Edna Crocker; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Hamelin and Patrick Breen.

He is survived by: his wife Annie; his son Brad (Ashley); his grandchildren, Jordyn, Logan and Caylin; his sisters, Audrey Piercey, Marion Hamelin, Blanch Breen and Winnie Piercey (Angie); and his sisters-in-law, Lillie (Bill), Joan (Tom), Sylvia (Don), Elaine (Brian) and Jean Piercey.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the St. Mary's Anglican Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
