She was predeceased by: her parents, John O'Connell and Madeline O'Connell of Brent's Cove; her former husband Lawrence Payne; her sister Elizabeth Jones (Anthony); her daughter-in-law Margaret Payne; her niece Hilda Payne (Joseph); and her close friends, Harvey Norman and Bert Haas Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Gerard Skinner; her children, Larry Payne, Sean Payne (Roxanne), David Payne (Kelly), Roderick Payne (Paula), Darrell Payne (Sinead), Craig Payne and Lori-Ann Payne-Johnson (Shannon); her grandchildren, Travis, Shania (Nathan), Jake (Julia), Mikyla, Cody, Morgan (Cody), Rachel, Marcus, Jared, Jonah (Morgan), Gerry and Kerry; her great grandchildren, Kinsley and Jaelyn; her sister Mary Downey; her niece Kayla Payne (Jeremy Martin); and her close friends, Ruby Norman, Joanne Haas and Agnes Payne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
