He was predeceased by: his son Joseph Keeping; his parents, Harvey Keeping and Janet Keeping; and his siblings, Roy Keeping (Alma), Lucy Boudreau (Charles), Annie Kelland (Richard) and Madeline Barnes (Wilson).
He is survived by: his wife Ena; his son Todd Keeping (Geraldine) of Harbour Mille; his grandchildren, Brittany Keeping (Kat) of Carbonear and Damian Keeping of Harbour Mille; and his siblings, James Keeping (Florence) of Harbour Mille, Janet Pardy of Marystown and Kate Barnes of St. John's.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Homes - Marystown (20-22 Creston Blvd #20, Marystown, NL A0E2M0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Mary's Anglican Cemetery.
