It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Woodford of Harbour Main, Newfoundland, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Woodford Sr.; her parents, John Costigan and Mary Ann Costigan; and her siblings, John, Michael, Joseph, Ann and Catherine.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann (Mark Kavanagh), Leo Jr. and Joan (William Dalton); her grandchildren, Dana Dalton (Troy Brown), Matthew Dalton (Amanda), Leanne Dalton (Aaron Blake) and Caitlin Woodford; her daughter-in-law Elaine Healey; her nieces and nephews, John Costigan (Janet), Darlene Costigan, Geraldine Hickey (Mississauga) and Barry Woodford; her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Woodford (Harbour Main), Mary Woodford and Elizabeth Costigan (Philadelphia); her close friend Carmel Healey; and her friends, John, Rose, Joan, Lawrence, Laura and Dave.
In lieu of flowers during the Holy season of Lent, donations in Beth's memory may be made to the Sts. Peter & Paul Parish Cemetery fund in Hr. Main or to a charity of one's choice.
