Valma Mercer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valma Mercer (Harbour Grace, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 26, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Valma was loved and cherished by many people including: son Jamie; father Isaac; siblings, John and Sadie; sister-in-law Marlene Mercer; significant other Tom Hennessey; children, Denise Sheppard, Lori Dove (Gerald), Harbour Grace, Pam Clarke (Raymond) and Dennis (Jackie Turnbull); mother Gladys Mercer; siblings, Malcolm (Marg), Gary, Marg Pike (Claude), Ruby Janes (Melvin) and Marina; sister-in-law Edith Mercer; close friends, Linda Mahaney and Maxine Burden; and also David Sheppard. Valma was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
