He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his parents, Felix and Mary; and his siblings, Thomas, Patrick, William, Gerald and Pauline Dempsey.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Young of Fort McMurray, AB, Michelle Stephens (Dave) and Paul (Mona); his grandsons, David (Jessica), Bradley and Mitchell; his sister Mary Whalen (Henry); and his sisters-in-law, Florence Janes and Margaret Clarke (Randolph). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
