He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Minnie; and his brother Gerald. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Tammy Adenee (Shola) and Jimmy (Brandi); his grandchildren, Gracie, Nicholas and Madison; his siblings, Michael of Harbour Grace, Wayne of Harbour Grace, Larry of Harbour Grace, John of Harbour Grace, Betty Pittman (Derm) of Mount Pearl, Jean Power (Kevin) of Mount Pearl, Joan Gregory (Joe) of Boston, MA and Mary Luciano (Mike) of Boston, MA; and his mother-in-law Annie Cave.
