She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomey and Ada Thomey; her grandson Ryan; and her sister Ruby Maidment. She is survived by: her children, Chrissy, Bonnie Suppa (Anthony), Christine McCarthy, Marie McCarthy (Gerard), Paul McCarthy (Tanya) of Ontario and Stephen McCarthy (Tanya) of Ontario; her grandchildren, Aaron, Amy, Emily, Juliette and Anthony; her sisters, Marie Coombs (Henry), Paradise and Stella 'Mame' McCarthy (Jerome); her brother-in-law Fred Maidment (Labrador); and her close friend Jenny Mercer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
