He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Jessie; his parents-in-law, John and Gertrude Smith; his siblings, William (Joyce), Eileen Sheppard (Norman) and Daisy Bradbury; his nephew Craig Shute; and his brother-in-law Josiah Noel.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, Annette (Wally), Heather, Mount Pearl and Sandra (Peter); his great grandchild Jaxon; his pet Molly; his siblings, Wayne Shute (Mary), Myrtle (Ed), Harbour Grace South, Florence (Nath) and Annie (Morley); his siblings-in-law, Winston Bradbury, John Smith (Lynne), Harbour Grace, Janet (Clifford), Betty (Cron), Nigel (Ruby) and Cove; and also, Aubrey, Linda Saunders and Harbour Grace. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
