He was predeceased by: his daughters, Debbie, Sandra and Dianne; his parents, William and Jessie; his sisters, Ruth Russell (Harvey) and Gladys Sheppard (Mose); his parents-in-law, Carman and Sadie Mullett; and his sister-in-law Lottie Tarrant.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah; his sons, Bill Jr. (Fran) of Harbour Grace, Eric (Clarice) of Harbour Grace and Glenn of Harbour Grace; his grandchildren, Jamie (Stephanie), Crystal, Billy Jr. (Cindy), Sheldon (Sara) and Brad (Jenna); and his sisters-in-law, Betty Mullett (late Maurice) and Susan Hutchings (late George).
