He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry and Violet; his brothers, Reginald and Henry; and his siblings-in-law, Genevieve Dixon, Veronica Smith, Gordon Crane and Harry Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Opal; his daughter Cynthia Peddle (Steve Smith); his grandchildren, Christopher (Sheena), Megan, Kyle, Charlene (Dion), Holly (Adam) and Catrina (Steve); his great grandchildren, Keira, Madison, Natalie, Tristan, Jaxon, Olivia, Caliope and Declan; his siblings, Dave (Ada) of Bristol's Hope, Ches (Ann) of Bristol's Hope, Jim (Myrtle) of Bristol's Hope, Eric (Harriett), Whitbourne, Edith Pye (Ches), Elaine St (Bill), Shirley Crane (Bob), Cindy O'Neill and Harbour Grace; and his siblings-in-law, Frederick Dixon, Shirley Lush (Bob), Daphne MacDonald, Myrtle Lavoie, Audrey Dixon (Bob), Pauline Park (Vic) and Michelle Dixon.
