He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Marjorie; and his siblings, Henry, Randy and Beverley Keels.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Susan (Shannon) and Albert; and his siblings, Paul of Harbour Grace, Wayne (Rosemary) of Harbour Grace, Joan Mahaney (Phillip) of Harbour Grace, Linda Newman Mahaney (Gord Dixon) of Harbour Grace, Audrey Gillingham Newman (Norm Turqtuq) of Harbour Grace and Marjorie Newman (Gerald Bickford) of Harbour Grace.
