He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Justin; his father Malc Whalen; his sons, Danny (Jess), Randy (Danielle) and David (Shannon); his grandchildren, Quinn, Hudson, Parker and Owen; his mother Mary South; his siblings, Keith (Shelly), Tom (Sheila), Mary Hearn (John) and Harbour Grace South (Madonna Lynch); and his pet Buddy.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace, followed by funeral Mass on Saturday, December 5 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace, by invitation only.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Baccalieu Trail S.P.C.A., PO Box 273, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1B7.
