He is survived by: his common-law partner Ellen Dennis; his children, Paul Stoodley and Bonnie Goguen (Mike); his grandchildren, Michael (Leslie), Katie and Mitchell; his former wife Gertie Stoodley; his daughter-in-law Corina Hunt; his siblings, Sidney Stoodley (Margaret), Eric Stoodley and Linda Hunt; his aunt Ivy Collier; and his close friends, Sammy Oliver, Wilson and Bridget Day. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Spencer's Funeral Home (190 Canada Dr, Harbour Breton, NL A0H1P0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Spencer's Funeral Home Chapel (190 Canada Dr, Harbour Breton, NL A0H1P0).
