He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sheppard and Olive Sheppard; his brother Henry; and his brothers-in-law, Chesley Lilly and Johnny Kearley.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Terry (Jackie), Leon (Angie), Trent and Jenielle (Jody); his grandchildren, Chad, Heather, Jeana, Tristan, Janine, Jenny, Caiden, Selena, Leah and Gabriel; and his siblings, Harold (Joan), Gordon (Shirley), Leo (Hazel), Bertha, Goldie, Espoir and Violet (Wilfred Ashford).
