It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Bishop of Harbour Breton, Newfoundland, who passed away on April 12, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Phillip Snook, Sr.; her parents, Sebina Bishop and Chesley Bishop; her daughter Sandra Strickland; her granddaughter Ocean Keeping; her siblings, Frank Bishop, Eric Lace, Charles Savoury and Ann Bishop Zwicker; and her siblings-in-law, Lisa Bishop and Gordon Strowbridge.
She is survived by: her daughters, Daisy Bishop, Melissa Bishop and Vanessa Greene; her grandmothers, Kristen Strickland and Kayla Wells; her siblings, Marion Strowbridge, Barbara Harris (Ken), Eric Bishop (Sue), Dave Bishop (Agnes) and Fred Bishop; and her caregiver Cheryl Thornhill. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
