He was predeceased by: his parents, James Goudie and Elizabeth Goudie; his wife Margaret Beals; his siblings, Horrace, Chris, Bruce, Marie, May and Marjorie; and his grandchildren, Skye, Courtney and Taylor.

He is survived by: his children, Bill (Rhondalee), Dawn (Steve), Jerry (Karen), Sheila (Chris), Phil (Dianne) and Karen (Natty); his stepsons, Richard (Bernice) and Rod (Jenny); his grandchildren, Stephenie, Stephen, Kimberly, David, Christopher, Laura, Lissa, Kelti and Cameron; his stepgrandchildren, Kayla, Devon, Kylie and Paul; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Charles, Elenor, Felix, Gwendolyn and Summer; and his siblings, Joe (Debbie), Jim (Rosemary) and Grace. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be accepted and donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
