With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Marie Rodgers (Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland), born in Winterton, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 14, 2021 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward and Phoebe Ann (Thomas); her daughters, Bonnie and Blanche (Brian); and her brother Wilson (Marion).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Dave), George (Heather) and Darlene (Terry); her grandchildren, Shawn, Leslie, Jonny, David, Jody, Janine, Kayla, Junior, Tegan, Steven, Dayna, Travis, Tara and Kimberly; her sisters, Flora (Fred), Myrtis (Fred), Elsie and Joan (Wayne); and her close friend Severin Bourgeois.
Due to Covid-19 Government Regulations face masks and Vaccine Passports are required for the visitation and funeral service.
