The passing of Leah Pollard of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Cassell and Julia Cassell; her daughter Michelle Pollard; and her sister Gladys Cassell. She is survived by: her husband Pleaman; her children, Brian Pollard (Tanya) and Jennifer Pollard; her grandchildren, Kaneesha, Samantha (Nancy), Chantelle (Jorge), Alyssa (Jaxon), Jaydon and Alexander; her great grandchildren, Leah, Anna and Bjorn; her friends, Happy Valley Goose Bay and Lewisporte; and also Jamie.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home (262 Main St, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Philadelphia Pentecostal Church (362 Main St, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0).
