She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew (Anniette Nuna) and Michel; and her siblings, Basil Nuna, Paul Nuna, Germaine Nuna, Sandra Nuna and Antuan Nuna.
She is survived by: her husband Joachim Michel; her children, Helen Rich (Jason Rich), Joachim Michel Jr. (Madeline Michel), Penote Michel and Mary Louise Pokue (Sylvester Pokue); her brothers, John Luke Nuna and George Nuna; her brothers-in-law, Matthew Michel, John Roy Michel and Jarvis Michel; her sister Janet Michel; her grandchildren, Mary May Michel, Haylie Michel, June Michel, Joey Michel, Teueikan Michel, Hope Michel, Owen Michel, Paul Rich, Jimmy Rich, Raya Penunsi, Benson Penunsi, Shimun Penunsi, Zeya Penunsi, Teya Penunsi, Ashley Piwas, Ariel Piwas, Taila Pokue, Kalenna Pokue, McKala Antuan, Kayla Antuan, Maki, Madison, Blake, Keesha Rich, Dalton Rich, Ally Rich, Marilyn Rich, Tamanik Rich, Miquel Rich, Karlayiass Pokue and Mackley Pokue; and her great grandchildren, Tristen Michel, Sylvie Michel and Ariela Antuan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home (45 Aspen Rd, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL A0P). A wake was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Joachim's Home. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Roman Catholic Church.
