It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Sarah Best (Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 3, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gladys Sarah Best to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond; and her siblings, John, Sam and Ruth. She is survived by: her children, Phyllis (Byron), John (Fay), Richard (Christina), Hector (Brenda), Marvin (Diane), Anthony and Large; and her brother Norman Andersen. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held on June 7, 2021 at 2 PM (to a maximum of 25 people in compliance with Covid 19 Regulations) from the United Church NWR with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating Interment to follow at the Community Cemetery NWR.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
