We bid farewell to Gillian Decker (Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 7, 2024. Gillian touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Peggy Decker (Clarke); her brother Ken Decker; and her grandparents, Stella, William Clarke, Charlotte and Sam Dickers.
She is survived by: her daughter Yvonne (Shannon); her granddaughters, Mia and Paige; her father Roland (Katie); her siblings, Sam (Sheila), Tom (Elizabeth), Dean (Caroline), Frank (Kim), Nigel, Phillip, Jonathan and Hilary (Pishumus); and her extended family Brady. She is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home (45 Aspen Rd, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL A0P). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Anglican Church (47 Grenfell St, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL A0P1E0).
