It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freeman Maxwell Brake (Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Brake and Beatrice Brake (Park); his parents-in-law, Harrison and Annie Pike (Murley); his siblings, Vivian Neil (Llew), Susie March, Edna Brake (Otto), Olive Park (Les), Marjorie (Alexander), Eileen Brett (Llew), Lillian Loder (Jack), Bertha Davis (Joe), Frank Brake (Annie), Harvey Brake, William Brake (Madeline), John Brake and Stanley Brake (Jean); his siblings-in-law, Muriel Simms (Johnny), Ken Meade, Fred Pike (Josephine) and Gerald Murphy; and his son-in-law Joe McKinnon.
He is survived by: his wife Maisie; his daughters, Debbie, Joanne Young (Junior), Lorena Hamilton (Arthur) and Carrie Lynn; his grandchildren, Justin Young, John Darby Hamilton and Olivia Hamilton; his great grandchild Maxwell Greenham-Young; his sister Elizabeth Meade; his sisters-in-law, Fern Murphy and Dorothy Brake; and his stepgrandsons, Cory McKinnon (Nicolle) and Chad McKinnon (Misty).
