She was predeceased by: her father Walter Halbot; and her father-in-law Iain Connell. She is survived by: her children, Jonathan and Sarah; her mother Mary Halbot; her siblings, Judy Vickers (Gary), Wanda Williams (Robert), Wayne Halbot (Elaine) and Kathy Blake; her mother-in-law Sadie Connell; and her sister-in-law Pat Appleby (Mal).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Delia to the Children's Wish Foundation, an organization that had a profound impact on her family.
