He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude Pelley; his stepson Derick Green; his parents, Cecil Senior and Elsie Pelley; his brothers, Melvin Pelley and Cecil Pelley; and his brother-in-law Frederick Green.

He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Hollie Green; his grandson Todd Green (Cindy); his great grandchildren, Morgan and Riley Green; his sister Velma Piercey (Ron); his siblings-in-law, John Soper (Myrtle) and Shirley Pelley; and his nieces and nephews, Glenn Piercey (Sue Ziegler), Brent Pelley (Rhonda), Albert Pelley (Nellie), Gary Pelley, Rhonda Mckinnon (Ian), Linda Pelley (Natalie Osadchy) and Elaine Erenberg (Reuven). He is also survived by his great nieces, great nephews.
