It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Laura Pelley (Hants Harbour, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 22, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Louisa and Archibald Loder; her parents, Bertha Green and Ariel Green; her stepfather Arthur Soper; her brother Frederick Green; and her son Derick Green.

She is survived by: her husband Leonard Pelley; her daughter-in-law Hollie Green; her grandson Todd Green (Cindy); her great grandchildren, Morgan and Riley Green; her brother John; and her siblings-in-law, Myrtle Soper, Olive Green, Velma Piercey (Ron) and Cecil Pelley (Shirley).
