It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia (Ropson) Elgar (Hampden, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Ropson and Fredrick Ropson; her siblings, Martha, Richard, Gerald and Garland; her parents-in-law, Dulcie and George Randell; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Moores.
She is survived by: her significant other Maxwell Randell; her children, Shawn, Sharon (Medrick), Cindy (Jerry) and Angela (Robert); her grandchildren, Terry, Lindsay, Jeffrey, Hillary and Alicia; her great grandchildren, Aidan, Jonah and Luke; her brother Baxter Ropson (Annie); and her siblings-in-law, Ewen (Verna), Guy (Debbie), Ron, Hayward (Una), Greg (Penny), Ivy, Bonnie (Francis), Shirley (Edgar), Annie and Mae Ropson. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, as well as many friends.
In keeping with Sylvia's wishes cremation will take place and due to the Covid-19.
Donations may be made in memory Of Sylvia to the Church of the Epiphany Anglican Church in Hampden.
