It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mervin Allan Pilgrim of Hampden, Newfoundland, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Pilgrim and Lynetta Pilgrim; his brother Clayton Pilgrim; his sister-in-law Dinah Pilgrim; his sister Adelaide; his half-sister Lucy; and his brother-in-law Llewelyn Langford.

He is survived by: his close friend Beverly; his children, Dean and Cindy; his grandsons, William, Kenneth and Jake; his siblings, Edgar Pilgrim (Rowena), Lewis Pilgrim (Dorothy), Lovetta Langford, Merida Pilgrim, Henry Pilgrim (Pauline) and Alvin Pilgrim (Nancy); his siblings-in-law, Sheila Felker (Bill), Karen Foote (Mike), Donald Denney (Annette), Christine Denney and Rick Denney (Jackee); and his parents-in-law, Ross and Jean Denney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.
