He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah; his parents, Kenneth Burry and Lucy Maude Burry; his son Derrick Burry; his brothers, Malcome Burry and Major Douglas Burry; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Kelloway and Edith Burry.
He is survived by: his children, Lyndon (Xiaoling) of St. John's, Gregory (Angela), Denise Hayes (Jerome) of Greenspond and Tracy Ross (Jeremy) of Dartmouth, NS; his siblings, Eric Burry, Ellen Filler (Rene) of Gander and Louise Kelloway of Wesleyville; his sisters-in-law, Major Lorraine Burry of Ontario and Betty Burry of Gander; and his grandchildren, Sara, Jalyn, Alexis, Spencer, Lucy and Aimee.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roland's memory to The Burry family; they will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements.
