She was predeceased by: her parents, Ena Burry and Harry Burry; her husband Stuart Bragg; her son Derrick; her sister Frances; her siblings-in-law, Marie, Stella, Jean, Dominic, Peter and Michael Leaving; her son Clyde (Diane); her daughter-in-law Beverley Bragg; her siblings, Bernice Woodland (Reg), Don, Saul and Dave Burry; her siblings-in-law, Thomas Bragg, Verna, Alice, Doris and Gloria; and her friend Shirley Burry.
She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Allison, Kayla, Jason and Roger.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Kittiwake Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephan's Anglican Church.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Mellie's memory to The Interfaith Cemetery Fund, Greenspond.
