She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Jenkins and Daisy Jenkins; her parents-in-law, Thomas Sparkes, Obediah and Marcy Meadus; her sister Diane; and her brother-in-law Ron Benson.
She is survived by: her husband Walter; her children, Tina and Darrell (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Owen, Connor, Justin, Rose and Laurie; her siblings, Raymond (Linda), Roy (Jean) and Doreen Burt (Steve); her siblings-in-law, Marg (Bill), Rochelle (Dave), Marie (Roger), Suzanne (Marten), Carolyn and Randy; and her aunt Mabel Ashbourne.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Luke's Anglican Church. A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to St. Luke's Anglican Cemetery Fund or Daffodil Place, 70 Ropwalk Lane, St. John's, NL, A1E 5T2.
