It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Skeans (Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vera Skeans to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Penney and Miriam Penney of New Perlican; her daughter Sharon; and her siblings, Don, Melvin, Max, Ralph, Rex, Carl, Roland, Edna and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her children, Doug (Muriel), Ron (Sherri) of Yellowknife and Cathy Prentiss (Paul) of Minnesota; and her brothers, Roy and Wayne. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
