He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Deering and Hazel Deering; his siblings, Clara, Alfred and Ed; and his sister-in-law Evelyn.

He is survived by: his wife Ann; his daughter Amy (Rodney); his grandson Griffin; his siblings, Thelma, Ruth, Doris, Cora (Don), Bob (Joyce), John (Pearl) and David (Cindy); his sister-in-law Eileen; and his friends, Sam Irving and Eugene Manual.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Salvation Army Bishop's Falls.
