He was predeceased by: his wife Linda; his parents, John Aitken and Nina Aitken; his parents-in-law, Harry and Vera May; his brother John Aitken; his sister-in-law Denise Aitken; his son Kent (Jennifer Wall); his grandchildren, Sophie and Will Aitken; his in-laws, Gloria Lalonde, Sheila Hanley (Bob), Kent May (Christine) and Linda Combden; his nephews, Jerrod, Sheldon Lalonde, Johnny Aitken, Ian and Adam May; and his niece Laurie Aitken.
He is survived by: his close friend Vonnie Hemeon.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoskins Funeral Home (271 Main St, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Anglican Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to the St. James Anglican Church in Botwood or the Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls-Windsor.
