He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughters, Gale Joy (Paul) and Leasa Sheppard (Neil); his siblings, Mabel Perry (late Oliver) of Hawkes Bay, Una Small (Bob) of Winnipeg, Barbara Reid (Fred) of Winnipeg, Evelyn Eamonts of Ontario, Wesley Jr. (Avis) of Bishop's Falls and Dexter (Joan) of Grand Falls; his grandchildren, Kristen Joy (Troy), Becca Switzer of Colorado, US and Richard Sheppard of Colorado, US; his great grandchildren, Lily Stenabaugh and William Hollett; his friends, Seth, Barbara Faulkner, Eugene, Loretta Cooper, Ron, Shirley Snow, Dale and Joan Mercer; his brothers, Hughie (Pauline) of Bishop's Falls and Jack (Mary) of Bishop's Falls; his nephew Jeff Rendell; his son-in-law Paul Joy; his grandson-in-law Troy Hollett; his friend Jeremy Cannings; his nephew Brian Sparkes; and also Bob (Greta Mills).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoskins Funeral Home (527 Main St, Bishop's Falls, NL A0H1C0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Pentecostal Church (451 Main St, Bishop's Falls, NL A0H1C0).
