He was predeceased by: his daughter Melinda; his parents, Ellen and Gus; and his siblings, Bernice, Betty, Kathleen, Bride, Madeline, Mary, Leo, Tom and Gus.

He is survived by: his siblings, Alice and Albert (Mazie); his wife Marion; his children, Regina (James), Brian (Leslie) and Millie; and his grandchildren, Laura (Geoff), Dax, Vera and Miranda. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a large circle of extended family members and friends.
