She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Abbott and Mabel Abbott; and her siblings, Velma Wells and Rufus Abbott. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie (Lori) and Valerie (Patrick); her grandsons, Billy, Barry (Leona) and Cameron; her great grandchild Apollymi; her sister Christine (Harry); her siblings-in-law, Eugene (Mary) and Joyce; her husband Melvin Richard Cole; her grandsons, Jonathan Swift, William Cole (Billy) and Pallbearers; her brothers, Daniel Abbott (Geraldine) and Alonzo Abbott (Dale); and her nephews, Trent Templeman and Wayne Cole. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and former co-workers.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 1-5pm at Hoskins Funeral Home & Crematorium located at 12 Earle Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL following protocol regarding COVID. The funeral will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 2pm at the Windsor Pentecostal Church located at 97 King Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL by invitation only due to COVID restrictions.
