Patricia Tuppenney wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Verna and family, I send my condolences to you all. Junior was one of a kind! It Was Tom’s and my privilege to serve under Junior at THQ. His Godly example, concern and support through our own journey moved us. His visits to Tom when he was in hospital for his amputation made an impact on Tom. He exemplified Christlike compassion. His sense of humour, Starbucks and encouragement lifted our dhearts. May the memories you hear in the coming days be a testament to a life well lived.”
