She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Burden and Florence Burden. She is survived by: her husband Denis Kennedy; her son Geoff (Denise); her pets, Bailey and Jersey; her siblings, Jim Burden (Holly), Fred (Christine) and Linda Earle; and her close friend Doreen Bradbury. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Lionel Kelland Hospice.
