It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Hobbs (Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 20, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Jane and Edward Hobbs; his parents-in-law, Earl and Martha Powell; and his siblings, Maude Noseworthy, Elizabeth Downer, Audrey Hobbs, Emily Martin and William Hobbs.

He is survived by: his wife Myrtle; his children, Jimmy, Wanda Stroud (Lee), Annette Hobbs (Kater), Cindy Pittman (Trent), Debbie Hobbs, Karen Hobbs (Leo) and Marilyn Sooley (Terry); his sisters, Carol Hobbs, Edna Holloway and Eliza Hobbs; his granddaughter Kimberly Sooley; and his nephew Alfred Hobbs. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Albans Anglican Church.
