Darryl Joseph Bowers Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darryl Joseph Bowers of Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 7, 2022 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Earl Harvey; and his brother-in-law Clifford Randell. He is survived by: his wife Patti; his daughter Emily; his stepchildren, Kaitlyn and Ali Delaurier of Halifax, NS.; his parents, Mary Bowers and Allan Bowers; his mother-in-law Leona Harvey of Belmont, NS.; his brothers, Patrick (Wendy) of Lower Sackville, NS, Roy of Fortune Harbour, NL, Andre (Kathy) of Springdale, NL and Kim Randell; his siblings-in-law, Robert Harvey of Moncton, NB, Douglas Harvey of Belmont, NS and Erlene Dereniowski (Richard) of Brantford, ON.; his nieces and nephews, Andrew, Brandon Harvey, Adrian Dereniowski (Shauna), Brandon Randell (Sarah Manuel), Bradley Randell (Chelsea Cox), Lyndsay Howell (Caldon), Megan Redden (Michael), Breanna Randell, Brooklyn Randell and Bethany Bowers; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, CJ, Charlotte, Olivia, Lyndon, Grace, Benjamin and Lauren.

In keeping with the COVID-19 Guidelines there will be a public visitation Friday, January 14, 2022 at 7-9 pm and Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 2-4 pm. To attend the visitation you must register by calling Sarah at 709-486-9436.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Ronald McDonald House would be greatly appreciated.
