She was predeceased by: her husband Roy; her daughter Cindy; her daughter-in-law Mary (Dave); and her parents, Patrick Collins and Isabella Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Dave, Bob (Paula), Don, Tim (Ruby), Mike, Neil (Heather), Judy Baker (Ed), Bonnie Browne (Leo), Pam Gosse, Betty Sheppard-Murphy (Bill) and Barbara Arora (Rakesh); her sisters, Norma Hutchens, Kay Basha, Sheila Hiscock and Annabelle Bouzane; her parents-in-law, Kitty Collins (George), Reg Downton (Jean), Joesphine Collins (Dave) and Ann Sheppard; her siblings, Bertha, Patrick, Jean, George, Vince, Mary and Dave; and her brother-in-law Roy Sheppard. She is also survived by grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
In 2011, she was awarded the very first Age Friendly Senior Recognition Award' for her contribution to her community.
