He was predeceased by: his wife Maisie White; his children, Marg, Melvin and Malcolm; his grandson Jason; his great grandchild Tamara; his parents, George White and Lucy White; his siblings, Cecil, Wilson, Clar, Melvin, Clifford, Elsie, Gwen and Mardell; his sons-in-law, Lar and Donnie; his parents-in-law, Olando and Minnie Wiseman; and his siblings-in-law, John, Mary and Hilda.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara (Ralph Dunham), Joan (Scott Walker), Helen (Irvin Gers), Pauline (Jerry Ruddock), Dallas (Chris Collins), Ros Elson, Sharon Holmes, Gwen (Jeff Butt) and Paula MacKenzie (Rodney Champion); his brothers, Don and Gary; and his brother-in-law Lewis Wiseman. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
