It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Higgins (Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland), who passed away on March 12, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Higgins; his parents, Philomenia Higgins and William Higgins; his siblings, Geraldine and Michael; his son Michael; his brother-in-law Terry Ballard; and his son-in-law Ross Dyke.

He is survived by: his children, Aloysius Higgins (Judy), Terry Higgins (Dorothy), Tom Higgins (Jill), Margaret Dyke, Norma Chislett (Robert), Joan Barker (Tom), Yvonne Higgins (Rick), Edwina Barker (Randy), Marilyn Way (Ray), Darlene Higgins, Melinda Higgins (Rob) and Heather Murphy (Al); his granddaughter Amanda Higgins (Kyle); his siblings, Philomenia Pretty (Jack), Frank Higgins (Vickie) and Winfield Higgins (Lillian); his grandsons, Stephen Higgins, Marc Higgins, Rod Dyke, Darren Dyke and Bradley Way; and his great grandchild Adam Dyke. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
