He was predeceased by: his son Wayne Dolimount; his parents, James Dolimount and Kezia Dolimount; his brother Melvin Dolimount; and his parents-in-law, John C. and Mary Jane Hunt.

He is survived by: his wife Velma; his children, Marilyn West (John) of Grand Bank, William Dolimount Jr. (Nancy) of Whitecourt, AB and James Dolimount of St. John's; his brother Lloyd Dolimount (Betty) of Grand Bank; his grandchildren, Brian, Mark (Marsha), Kelly (Nafharia), Scott (Beth Ann), Robert (Kim), Cynthia (Travis), Vicky (Dave), Melissa (Gordon), Ryan (Louise) and Debbie (Dennis); his great grandchildren, Eric, Jacob, Gracie, Bella, Bria, John, Abigail, Matthew, Molena, Victoria, Jourdaine and Ebony; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis, Cora, Geraldine, Henry (Marie), Eric (Colleen) and Robert (Marion).

In keeping with the current Covid-19 regulations The Dolimount family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman's Funeral Home, 48 Marine Drive, Grand Bank, NL, A0E 1W0 on Friday, April 16th, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

In William's memory donations may be made to to a charity of ones choice, or flowers gratefully accepted.
