He was predeceased by: his parents, Byatt Trimm and Ada Trimm; his parents-in-law, John and Gladys Keeping; his granddaughters, Melissa Barter and Vanessa Warren; his son-in-law Keith Rideout; his siblings, George Trimm (Betty), Charles Trimm, Lloyd Trimm (Laura), Ethel Hillier (Cecil) and Alice Pitcher (George); and his siblings-in-law, Eli Matthews, Gerald Collins and Margaret Trimm.
He is survived by: his wife Phoebie Trimm; his children, Jerry Trimm (Elaine), Chris Trimm, Stanley Trimm Jr. (Marie), Sheldon Trimm (Lisa), Troy Trimm (Donna), Sandra Warren (Joe) of Grand Bank, Wanda Baker (Charles) of Grand Bank, Paulette Power (Dave) of Little Bay and Jody Rideout of Twillingate; his siblings, Margaret Matthews, Eileen Collins, Lenora Thornhill (Jake) and Wayne Trimm; and his grandchildren, Cheryl, Bruce, Conway, Collette, Ryan, Tyler, Jennifer, David, Devon, Carley and Kendyl.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Homes - Grand Bank (48 Marine Dr, Grand Bank, NL A0E1W0). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the C. Barnes' Funeral Service (29 Citadel Rd, Grand Bank, NL A0E1W0). A burial was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM.
