With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearl Best (Grand Bank, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 18, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lily and Mary Lily; her husband Ray Best; her son Roy Best; and her sister Emmie Strickland.

She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Rose (Carl) of Grand Bank; her sister Blanche Garland; her siblings-in-law, Anita Vokey, Hannah Neil (Wally), Emmie Haynes (Max), Reg Best (Donna), Carl Best (Edypat), Heber Best (Pat) and Bill Smith; and her grandchildren, Jason (Sandra), Colin (Angela), Paula (Brady), Susan, Donna (Scott) and Angela. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren.
