He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Janes and Mary Janes; his sister Martha; his parents-in-law, Effie and Hubert Skinner; and his brother-in-law Samuel.
He is survived by: his wife Sadie; his children, Gerald Janes (Tanya) of Garnish and Melinda Follett (Eric) of Grand Bank; his siblings, Helen Welsh (Rick), Ida Holwick (Frank), Ernest, Max, Michael, Gerald, Garland (Madeline) and Edgar Janes (Cora Lee); his sister-in-law Sandra Hollett; his grandchild Maleka (Camron); and his great grandchild Ella Farrell.
